Identification of Potential and Problems of BUMKam in Enggros Village by PSM BPPMDDTT Jayapura facilitated by DPMK Jayapura City
Jayapura, Papua – The Jayapura Center for Training and Empowerment of Village, Disadvantaged and Transmigration Communities (PPMDDTT) through the Community Self-Help Movement (PSM) identified types of community assistance related to Village Owned Enterprises (BUMKam) with the Head of Holtekam Village, Muara Tami District Jayapura City, the meeting took place in the Holtekam Village Hall Room, Muara District, Wednesday (13/7/2022).
Present at the meeting, the Identification Team for Potential and Problems of BUMKam PSM BPPMDDTT Jayapura, Team for Identifying Potential and Problems of BUMKam Village Community Empowerment Service Jayapura City Hanny Muloke, Head of Holtekam Village Abraham Merauje, Village Holtekam Officials, Chairman and Management of BUMKam Hen Ticahi Holtekam, Chief Supervisor BUMKam, General Chair of Jazzah Muslim, Head of RT 9 Kampung Holtekam, Chair of RW 03.
In the discussion group forum meeting, there was a two-way communication aimed at producing points including, between PSM BPPMDDTT Jayapura and the Head of Holtekam Village with the creation of an agreement in establishing a mentoring collaboration between PSM BPPMDDTT Jayapura and the Village Government Holtekam, an agreement in establishing a mentoring collaboration between PSM BPPMDDTT Jayapura with the management of BUMKam Tecahi Holtekam.
The meeting also resulted in several current obstacles that must be faced, namely the transition process for the new BUMKam management so that it is still not working in depth with existing business units, the existence of a savings and loan business unit and a banana boat tourism business which is still constrained. thoroughly and deeply socialized to the public about what BUMKam is and the benefits of BUMKam, the preparation of reports is still in the development stage, lack of motivation from some BUMKam administrators, a good business analysis has not been arranged so that the welfare of BUMKam employees is not good, constrained by customary rights.
It is hoped that the identification of potentials and problems from the Jayapura BPPMDDTT PSM facilitated by the Jayapura City DPMK can be a solution in the development of BUMKam Hen Tecahi Kampung Holtekam.
